I have been doing web development – both front-end and back-end – for over 20 years. Yowza! That makes me feel old!
My current day job is working as a Content Delivery Solutions Architect for an enterprise health care network. When you go to their website I help make it a good experience for you. I really like my job and the people I work with. The day job is not really the passion, however.
I have horses, and horses are the passion; the center of my heart. I love my horses, I love your horses. I love the other boarders at the barn we are at, I love the owner of the barn. I love all the trainers I’ve had and all the farriers, vets, saddle fitters, etc. I have met during my horse-owner journey.
I also love small businesses. It takes a LOT of grit to start one and to be successful in the long run.
Over the years I have always had web clients on the side. I’m very good at what I do, and my clients are very good at what they do, and it is so rewarding to help them expand their customer base, update their brand, get the most out of their online identity. Budgets are not huge, and sometimes we have to work a bit at a time as time and money allows. I’m totally fine with that.
So I’ve put together my love of building websites and consulting with small business owners with my love of horses and created Digital Epona.
